Green Flag Plus Partnership coordinate the The Green Flag Award Scheme, which provides a national benchmark for the best green spaces in the country. Through the partnership, Neighbourhoods Green will be developing guidance for social landlords about Green Flag for housing.

The Landscape Institute is the Royal Chartered body for landscape architects; professionals who inspire people to expect the best from the natural and built environments.

Natural England

Natural England

Natural England works for people, places and nature to conserve and enhance biodiversity, landscapes and wildlife in rural, urban, coastal and marine areas. As part of the Neighbourhoods Green initiative, Natural England are developing a mapping tool to determine the extent and quality of open space owned and managed by social landlords.

The National Housing Federation

National Housing Federation

The National Housing Federation represents 1,200 independent, not-for-profit housing associations in England and is the voice of affordable housing. The Neighbourhoods Green Co-ordinator post is hosted by the National Housing Federation with an aim to support and promote the work that housing associations do to provide good quality green space in neighbourhoods.

The Wildlife Trusts

The Wildlife Trusts

The Wildlife Trusts is a partnership of 47 local wildlife trusts which constitute the UK’s largest voluntary organisation dedicated to conserving the full range of the UK's habitats and species. The London Wildlife Trust is coordinating the delivery of the Natural Estates project which is working with 9 RSLs in London over 3 years to bring about estate based interventions that promote biodiversity.

The Conservation Volunteers 

 
  The Conservation Volunteers is a practical sustainability charity that works with people and communities to transform their health, prospects and outdoor places for the long term. They work with Neighbourhoods Green to develop self-sustaining communities with the high quality open spaces, ensuring maximum social and economic return on housing associations’ maintenance budgets.

Steering group

The project leaders are supported by a steering group comprising representatives from the social housing sector and various open space sector partners. The group meets regularly to direct, oversee and manage the project's delivery and includes representation from Circle 33Great Places Housing Group, Helena Homes, LB Hammersmith & Fulham, Medina Housing, New Charter Housing Trust, Notting Hill Housing, Peabody Trust, and Places for People, Regenda Group, Wakefield & District Housing.

Neighbourhoods Green is a national partnership supported by Design Council Cabe, Groundwork, the Green Flag Plus Partnership, the Landscape Institute, the National Housing Federation, Natural England, the Royal Horticultural Society and the Wildlife Trusts.
