Are you passionate about the design quality of buildings and spaces? Would you like to be part of an unrivalled network of professionals championing the value of good design in the built environment?

Design Council Cabe is looking for a wide range of people from architecture, planning and infrastructure backgrounds as well as academics, health specialists, community engagement workers. Anyone, in fact, who can bring an informed expert viewpoint and is committed to helping us to champion good design.

In the past, they have drawn on the services of enablers and Design Review panel members to participate in our activities and provide guidance and advice. They are now refreshing our group of experts to form a single network of Built Environment Experts (BEEs).

This flexible and diverse network will provide design advice on their behalf to clients across England. This could be for a one off event such as reviewing a development proposal or supporting a client to develop a neighbourhood plan. Their clients are from the public, private and voluntary sectors.

The deadline for applications is 5.30pm Friday 30 March 2012. Design Council recognises the benefits of a diverse team; promoting equality and inclusion throughout their work. More details are here www.designcouncil.org.uk/bee
